Thanks for commenting! Unfortunately, that is all the pics I got of that day – due to the rain – I had to put the camera back in the car and I didn’t get it back out again. Sorry. We go up that way fairly often so I will make sure to post more pics as soon as I get them. Thanks again.

Wow thanks for the post, We are always looking for new place to go and this place looks amazing. Thanks for the cool pics and the write up. I have wanted to see this place and the hot springs, not sure about the nudist thing though. Also could you put up a link to all the pics of that day if that wouldn’t be to much to ask.

Hi Jamie,

Thank for the comment, it’s nice to know that I’ve helped at least one person take an AZ road trip! I asked my husband if he recalled seeing campsites when we went and he definitely remembers seeing people camped along the river. There were also people camped right down underneath the bridge. I don’t believe the campsites were improved and I didn’t see any indications that you could reserve them – probably first come first served. The fossil springs area is in the Coconino National Forest, so you might be able to give them a call and ask them if campsites are available to reserve. I have the number to the Coconino National Forest on my most recent post.

Hi, thanks for posting this article! I’ve been looking all over for someone that has been to fossil creek recently so I could decide whether or not this would be a good place to visit. I’m curious if you know of any camping in this area? If I’m going to make the trip I’d like to stay overnight.
